About our Сenter

In every branch of the genealogical tree, a unique saga is concealed, and researching ancestors is the key to unraveling one's personal history and destiny
The European Genealogical Center is a large company consisting of several departments and working groups, each dedicated to specific tasks. Genealogical research and document search are carried out by regional departments: the Western European Research Department, which includes research groups from Southern and Northern Europe; the Central European Research Department, along with the Balkan Research Group; and the Eastern European Research Department. Additionally, our Center has departments for Web Development, Graphics and Design, where research materials are formatted.
Before commencing genealogical research, the initial data is thoroughly analyzed. The most crucial information for archival search includes full names, birthplaces of the individuals in the family lines under investigation, and their years of life. Upon receiving a request, we contact the client and ask for details about the furthest known ancestors of the family to be researched, or information about the individual whose biography needs to be studied or specific documents located. Once the data is obtained, our specialists verify the preservation of documents, assess the directions and prospects of the search, determine the timeline and cost of the research. A commercial proposal is then presented to the client. After the details are agreed upon and the research is paid for, our team specialists begin their work.

About our team

At the European Genealogical Center, a team of professionals has gathered from different countries, all of whom have received education from leading universities in Europe. For them, genealogy has become an integral part of life. Each member of our team specializes in a specific region and possesses a profound understanding of the local historical and cultural context. In addition to genealogists, our team includes specialists in linguistics, social anthropology, paleography, and source studies, as well as editors and designers.

Our research extends beyond archival confines. When necessary, our specialists embark on field expeditions, gathering local lore and conducting interviews with relatives and locals. These invaluable testimonials of time and events seamlessly integrate into our genealogical pursuits, becoming an indispensable part of our research. The outcome of the European Genealogical Center's specialists' work, in consultation with the client, can take the form of a report, book, or website dedicated to the history of a family or an entire genus. Pioneering in our services, we offer to present the research results in the form of a website. This innovative product can serve as an alternative to a family history book or complement it.
