Genealogical services and research costs

The European Genealogical Center offers a wide range of services for those who wish to reconstruct their family history or locate missing documents. You can order an archival search or a study of all ancestral lines, request a custom-printed book about your family’s past, or commission a website dedicated to your lineage. Our experienced team carefully handles every stage of the work: from analyzing and verifying the client’s initial data to preparing a detailed final report with copies of documents, a family tree (genealogical chart), and extended expert commentary. You may freely choose the service depending on your personal goals — whether it is nationality confirmation for repatriation, legal purposes, or complete genealogical research covering several branches of a family. The cost of genealogical services is always calculated individually and depends on the scope and complexity of archival work. Different countries, regions, and even specific archives maintain their own rules, regulations, and access requirements. For this reason, this section provides only the starting prices—the final amount is determined after reviewing all available initial data and clearly defining the scope of research in advance.

Genealogical research
Our team is dedicated to reconstructing your genealogy, providing insights into your ancestors' lives dating back to the 17th century. We conduct professional genealogical research in archives across the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland, and other European countries. Our experts examine civil registry documents, parish records, census data, confession lists, and various other genealogical sources to revive forgotten familial connections and recreate your family tree. The outcome of our genealogical research can be presented as a detailed report or a comprehensive book.
From €1000
Biographical research
For those interested in a specific individual rather than an entire lineage, we offer biographical research services. This involves locating all available documents about a person, including personal files, autobiographies, information on residences, education, employment, family ties, and photographs. Through this process, we reconstruct the individual’s life journey. This service is invaluable for those wishing to delve into their family’s history through individual biographies. The findings can be presented in a straightforward report with document copies or as a fully developed book.
From €400
Confirmation of nationality
Many countries offer the opportunity to obtain citizenship by ancestry. Our specialists assist in confirming Jewish roots or Polish nationality. If your relatives were born in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire or Greater Romania, we can help secure the necessary documents for repatriation to Hungary or Romania. Citizenship by descent programs exist in Germany, Greece, Estonia, Croatia, Serbia, and many other countries. If your ancestor belonged to a European nationality, you may qualify for a passport. Upon completion, you will receive all required documents verifying your heritage.
From €200
Family history book
Looking to preserve your ancestors' legacy for future generations? We offer a service to create a unique family history book. This endeavor encompasses genealogical research with all discovered archival documents, family charts for each lineage, descriptions of ancestral homelands and lifestyles based on ethnographic and local history materials, photographs of relatives and the areas they inhabited, and personal stories and recollections from your ancestors. Such a publication undoubtedly becomes an invaluable heirloom for your family, enabling descendants to understand their heritage.
From €2500
Family history website
If you prefer to honor your ancestors' memory in a digital format, we provide services to develop a website that serves as a timeless family treasure. This platform consolidates all family stories derived from genealogical research and relatives' memories. It includes copies of archival documents, personal letters, histories of locales where ancestors lived, photographs, and the family tree, all accessible worldwide in multiple languages. A digital archive serves as an excellent complement to a family history book or as an independent resource on your family’s unique and cherished history.
From €2000
